Two Heads is a series of twelve collaborations between Wes White and each of the artists listed above.
There will be a new product or performance from each collaboration for public enjoyment, each inspired by those that have gone before and so building up to a body of work that can be experienced both separately and as a whole.

Okay, so I've gotten a bit behind, mostly due to all of my collaborators being fantastically busy people. But in recent weeks, I've been writing about magical birds for Ceridwen to make into models; Lawrence has been sending me some ideas for starting points for our joint work, Alex has re-confirmed his commitment to be a part of the project and Tony has.... well, Tony's been dissolving keys and taking stereoscopic photographs of the process. See Ceridwen's page for some of the bird poems, updates on the others as they come. Really looking forward to working with Hazlitt this month.

I haven't done a great job of keeping this blog updated, have I? I'm pledging here and now to do better from here on. So, since the end of January and the last update, parts two to four have been completed. You can see and hear them here, here and here. I am honoured to have worked with Lawrence, Yusuf and Erica and to be able to show you these works. The May collaboration with Ceridwen is going to take some time because that's the nature of her work, but I'll update this diary with news as we're going along and we're aiming to have it completed by the end of the year. Now I'm going to get in touch with Lawrence because it's June already...

We've completed part one! Ben and I have produced a to-and-fro diary which records in detail (or at the very least mentions in passing) the past and the future, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Coolio's entry to the Big Brother House, bicycle thieves, antiparticles and pigeons.
There is a numbered edition of 150 which you can order online now, or if you want to be one of the very first people to have one, come to the Attack!!!! gig here tomorrow night.
The whole text is up under January already - it will magically transform into colour in a few days time.

Website launched. Welcome to it! This site is where all the news about Two Heads, and all web content associated with it will go. When there's online content associated with each collaboration you'll find it under the relevant banner above - but right now we're still working on the first one, so the links take you to just a bit of information about each artist involved in the Two Heads project.
Ben and I are working on a piece about the past and future; inspired by the Roman god of beginnings, Janus, after whom the month of January is named - and his two faces which see the New Year in and the old one out at the same time. You can learn more about the god at the Crystal Inks website.
The work we make will be available for audience consumption at the next Attack!!!! live night at Cafe OTO on January 28th 2009, which is just another reason to come there that night if you didn't have enough already. (March and April will be involved in that too, by the way). In the meantime please explore the pages above and get to know the many heads behind Two Heads.
