Cartilage 2 - sometime in 1998

Sold out!!

Cartilage for Hominids issue 2 contained, in addition to several pages of editorial content:

1. To Bring Forth Bees (a hex for making creatures who make hexagons)
2. Adjectives and Nouns or Big Nurse Elephant - an exclusive "free game"
3. Hand Grenade Hearts: A really grisly metaphor for inability to get over a girl. WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!! WHY!! etc. Admired by many.
4. "Yes, his name's Huxley": A very short story with very simple illustrations which I now realise bears a very striking similarity to Oly Ralfe's submission to Attack!!!! 2: bones
5. A Divine Dispatch, Hard to Interpret: A two-page poem about a strange incident in a rural village in France.
6. Strange Lewis: Strange interacts with his t-shirt.
7. A Cautionary Tale: A rather stupid short story.
8. Magic Fill-in Page: Inexcusable filler.
9. Stranger Lewis: A collection of heads demonstrating the extent to which Strange Lewis could be even more disturbing than he already is.
10. z: A short short story about a really odd occurrence at a Life Drawing class.
11. Godzilla - Lizard Poet: Four poems by Godzilla, the Japanese monster.
12. Jet Black Beauty: A poem about very black horses. The end is quite good.
